The 31st District Court is proud to offer online ticket negotiation as an alternative to appearing in person to discuss a traffic ticket with the City Attorney. The only real difference between the two processes is the venue in which they take place; one at the courthouse, and the other online. In both scenarios, the City Attorney will review the ticket and the driver’s record before making a decision on whether to offer an alternative violation. From there, the driver is able to decide whether to accept the offer and pay any associated fines and costs, or request an Informal Hearing in front of a judge or magistrate.
